Distilled from the delicate, intensely fragrant white blossoms of the Michelia alba tree, this exquisite Magnolia Flower Essential Oil is a highly sought-after botanical treasure in natural perfumery and luxury skincare. Characterised by a remarkably high naturally occurring linalool content, this precious floral extract yields a beautifully fresh, lush, and velvety aroma, layered with subtle, crisp fruity undertones reminiscent of peach and apricot.

In advanced cosmetic formulation, Magnolia Flower is prized for its elegantly soothing and skin-comforting properties. It serves as a sophisticated botanical active in premium facial serums, illuminating beauty oils, and targeted moisture creams designed to comfort stressed skin and promote a calm, smooth, and radiantly healthy-looking complexion. In fine natural perfumery, it acts as a breathtaking middle note, adding a vibrant, exquisitely sweet floral heart to bespoke botanical fragrances and atmospheric blends.

Skincare Ritual & Well-being Applications:
Within a holistic self-care routine, Magnolia Flower Essential Oil is universally revered for its capacity to beautifully calm the senses and uplift the spirit. Diffusing just 2–3 drops of this lush, euphoric floral oil helps to gently quiet the mind and cultivate a tranquil, deeply comforting atmosphere—making it an exceptional botanical tool for easing the feeling of daily tension. When properly diluted into a luxurious facial serum or evening body oil, taking the time to breathe in its fresh, sweet notes transforms a functional skincare step into a deliberate, restorative ritual that actively honours your inner peace and natural radiance.

Formulation & Safety Guidelines:

Application: Designed for luxury cosmetic formulation, fine natural perfumery, comforting facial care blends, and ambient atmospheric scenting.

Formulation Note: This is a highly concentrated pure essential oil with a powerful aromatic profile. A little goes a very long way. For topical cosmetic applications, we strictly recommend a low dilution rate of 0.5% to 1.5% in a suitable carrier oil (such as Jojoba, Camellia, or Sweet Almond) or a lipid-based cosmetic emulsion to prevent localised sensitisation.

Storage: To preserve its delicate floral volatile compounds and prevent oxidation, ensure the bottle is kept tightly closed. Store in a cool, dark environment away from direct UV exposure and extreme heat.

Safety: For external cosmetic and atmospheric use only. Do not apply undiluted to the skin and never apply to broken or irritated skin.
Medical Interactions: If you are pregnant, nursing, or under the care of a healthcare professional, please consult them before incorporating highly concentrated essential oils into your routine. Always perform a patch test on a small area of skin when trying a new diluted botanical product.

Zurma Essential Oils - Highest Quality Pure and Natural

At Zurma we go to great lengths to ensure that we only sell the highest quality pure and natural essential oils. We have searched the world for the best essential oils. Our in-house quality control system ensures that this high standard is maintained for all our essential oils. Every essential oil comes with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer (GCMS) test to confirm that they are genuine and authentic essential oils containing their correct active constituents.

The only exception to this is with the New Zealand small scale essential oil producers we buy direct from e.g., Lavender, Mānuka, Kānuka, Tea Tree etc. This is because we know and trust these growers who distil their own essential oils.

Finally, all essential oils have to undergo our own in-house smell, appearance and feel test and if they are not up to our high standards, we simply send the product back to the supplier. Based on this quality control process we believe that the 100% Pure and Natural essential oils that Zurma supplies to our customers are of the highest quality and are excellent for use in aromatherapy.
