At the heart of this gentle blend is Bakuchiol Extract, a plant-based ingredient from the seeds and leaves of the Babchi plant that is widely used as a gentle, natural alternative to retinol. Blended into a silky base of Tsubaki Oil, Camellia Seed Oil, Golden Jojoba Oil, Moringa Seed Oil, Fractionated Coconut Oil, and natural Vitamin E, and lightly scented with Sweet Orange and Ylang Ylang essential oils, this fast-absorbing serum leaves your skin feeling soft, supple, and ready for your daily or nightly moisturiser.

Because it is a completely water-free blend of pure seed oils and concentrated plant extract, this serum works by looking after your skin's natural lipid barrier (the thin layer of natural oils on the outside of your skin that stops moisture from escaping). Application: Made for daily morning and evening facial care. After washing your face and misting with your favourite floral water spray (toner), place 2 to 4 drops of serum onto clean fingertips. Lightly press and massage into your face, neck, and upper chest. Allow it to soak in fully before putting on your preferred day or night cream.

 

Dermal Limits & Clinical Safety: Suitable for all skin types, and especially helpful for dry, dull, mature, or sensitive skin looking for a gentle plant-based alternative to retinol. Because this oil serum contains zero water, bacteria and mould cannot grow in it, so it stays naturally fresh without needing any added preservatives.

 

Storage & Degradation: Because cold-pressed seed oils, Bakuchiol Extract, and pure essential oils can break down if they get too hot or are left in bright light, always close the cap tightly after each use. Store the bottle in a cool, dark cupboard away from direct sunlight and bathroom heaters.

 

Critical Warnings: For use on the outside of the skin only. Keep out of your eyes. Although Bakuchiol is known for being very gentle on the skin, we always recommend testing a small drop of serum on the inside of your arm for 24 hours before using it on your face for the first time. If your skin gets red or itchy, stop using it and wash the area with warm water.
