Yarrow Blue Essential Oil is dark blue in color due to its chamazulene content. Chamazulene is a sesquiterpene that exhibits anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties. It has an aroma that is sharp, woody, herbaceous, fruity and somewhat sweet. Yarrow oil is useful for promoting blood circulation, reducing inflammation, providing relief from arthritis and rheumatism and helping to eliminate toxins from the body. A good choice for menstrual problems and hemorrhoids. It is also used in thrombotic conditions with hypertension. This oil helps to bring about balance and stability as it has been found that at the emotional level it stabilises polar opposites within the body and is useful during times of major life changes, when emotional equilibrium needs greater support.
