Steam-distilled from the deep, complex root systems of the Vetiveria zizanioides grass, this premium Certified Organic Vetiver Essential Oil carries rigorous organic certification (BioGro), ensuring exceptional botanical purity and highly sustainable cultivation practices. Free from synthetic chemicals and pesticides, it yields a remarkably rich, thick, and dark amber oil. It presents an incredibly profound, sweet, and earthy aroma layered with distinctly warm, smoky undertones that are deeply grounding and intensely reassuring.

In luxury cosmetic formulation and holistic skincare, Organic Vetiver is highly prized for its deeply conditioning and restorative properties. It serves as an exceptional botanical active in rich night creams, restorative body balms, and targeted formulations designed to comfort dry, mature, or environmentally stressed skin profiles. In ambient diffusion and natural perfumery, it acts as an unparalleled base note and fixative. Universally revered as the "Oil of Tranquillity," its heavy, euphoric character anchors the mind, naturally easing feelings of nervous exhaustion and creating a deeply restful, calm atmosphere.

Skincare Ritual & Well-being Applications: Within a holistic self-care routine, Certified Organic Vetiver is universally revered as the ultimate botanical anchor for an overactive, exhausted mind. Diffusing just 1–2 drops of this thick, earthy oil helps to dispel nervous tension and the mental fatigue of a demanding day, instantly transforming your space into a sanctuary of profound stillness. When beautifully diluted into a rich nighttime massage oil or an intensive body balm, taking the time to slowly work these warm, smoky notes into the skin transforms a functional bodily care step into a deliberate, euphoric evening ritual that actively restores your central nervous system and prepares the body for deeply restful sleep.

Formulation & Safety Guidelines:
Application: Designed for luxury cosmetic formulation, deeply restorative skincare blends, fine natural perfumery, heavy tissue massage, and emotionally grounding atmospheric scenting.

Formulation Note: This is a thick, highly viscous pure essential oil. It will likely require gentle warming in a tepid water bath to encourage flow before pouring or blending. For topical cosmetic or massage applications, we strictly recommend a standard dilution of 1–2% in a suitable high-quality carrier oil (such as Certified Organic Jojoba Oil Golden, Almond Oil Sweet, or Rosehip Seed Oil) or a lipid-based cosmetic emulsion.

Storage: To preserve its deeply complex botanical compounds and thick, resinous character, ensure the bottle is kept tightly closed. Store in a cool, dark environment away from direct UV exposure and extreme heat. Like fine wine, true Vetiver oil famously improves, deepens, and smooths out as it ages.

Safety: For external cosmetic and atmospheric use only. Do not apply undiluted to the skin and never apply to broken or highly irritated skin.
- General Safety: Vetiver is universally considered non-toxic, non-irritant, and non-sensitizing when properly diluted.
- Always perform a patch test on a small area of skin when trying a new diluted botanical product. If you are pregnant or under the care of a healthcare professional, consult them before use.

Zurma Essential Oils - Highest Quality Pure and Natural

At Zurma we go to great lengths to ensure that we only sell the highest quality pure and natural essential oils. We have searched the world for the best essential oils. Our in-house quality control system ensures that this high standard is maintained for all our essential oils. Every essential oil comes with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer (GCMS) test to confirm that they are genuine and authentic essential oils containing their correct active constituents.

The only exception to this is with the New Zealand small scale essential oil producers we buy direct from e.g., Lavender, Mānuka, Kānuka, Tea Tree etc. This is because we know and trust these growers who distil their own essential oils.

Finally, all essential oils have to undergo our own in-house smell, appearance and feel test and if they are not up to our high standards, we simply send the product back to the supplier. Based on this quality control process we believe that the 100% Pure and Natural essential oils that Zurma supplies to our customers are of the highest quality and are excellent for use in aromatherapy.
