Te Rongo Maori: Mamaku NZ Tree Fern (Cyathea medullaris) has been traditionally used by Maori for centuries to promote wound healing, improving the look and texture of the skin. This gel is made mostly of water and boosted by numerous nutrients, Mamaku is especially effective at bringing natural hydration to skin, making it an effective emollient, especially when working in synergy with ingredients that lock in moisture for radiant, softer skin. Mamaku is also said to stimulate cell multiplication and these cells migrate to the stratum corneum to renew the epidermis, not only does it help skin cells rejuvenate by encouraging the production of collagen and elastin cells, it also offers rich moisture that soothes and softens parched skin.
