Solubility & Consistency: A brownish-amber, semi-solid, pliable mass. It is highly soluble in high-proof perfumer's alcohol, but only partly soluble in fixed carrier oils.

 
Formulation & Safety Guidelines:
Application: Strictly designed for specialized natural perfumery, bespoke solid perfumes, and customized cosmetic fragrance blending. Not recommended for standard ultrasonic ambient diffusion due to its heavy, semi-solid nature.

Formulation Note: Because this absolute is a semi-solid, pliable mass at room temperature, it requires gentle, controlled warming in a water bath to become fluid and pourable for formulation. When blending into lipid (oil) bases, be aware that it is only partially soluble; the final blend may require gentle filtering to remove any insoluble botanical waxes. It blends flawlessly into perfumer's alcohol. Due to its intense tenacity, it should be used very sparingly as a base note (often at less than 1% of the total formulation) to avoid overpowering a blend.

Storage: Ensure the jar or bottle is kept tightly closed. Store in a cool, dark environment. Like many heavy absolute materials, it is incredibly robust and its aromatic profile will continue to deepen and mature beautifully over time.
