Steam-distilled from the vibrant, narrow leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia tree, this premium Tea Tree Essential Oil captures the unadulterated essence of one of the world's most indispensable botanicals. Renowned globally as a staple in natural care and traditional formulation, it presents a fiercely crisp, sharply fresh, and distinctly medicinal aromatic profile with bright, herbaceous undertones that reflect its potent, purifying nature.

In advanced cosmetic formulation and holistic topical care, Tea Tree is highly prized for its remarkably clarifying, deeply purifying, and balancing properties. It serves as an unparalleled botanical active in targeted blemish treatments, refreshing scalp tonics, and clarifying facial cleansers specifically designed to comfort troubled, oily, or congested skin profiles. Beyond topical application, its piercingly clean and invigorating character makes it an absolute staple for naturally freshening a stagnant room, actively supporting deep breathing, and cultivating a bright, intensely clean atmosphere in any living space.

Skincare Ritual & Well-being Applications: Within a holistic self-care routine, Tea Tree Essential Oil is universally revered as the ultimate botanical purifier and physical restorative. Diffusing 3–5 drops of this powerfully fresh oil instantly clears a heavy, sluggish atmosphere, making it an exceptional companion for naturally revitalizing your home or workspace. When beautifully diluted into a clarifying evening facial oil or a targeted blemish serum, taking the time to gently work these fiercely clean, grounding notes into the skin transforms a functional physical care step into a deliberate, renewing ritual that actively restores your skin's natural balance and clear radiance.

Formulation & Safety Guidelines:
Application: Designed for targeted clarifying skincare, deep-cleansing cosmetic formulation, revitalizing scalp treatments, natural home purification, and highly focused ambient atmospheric diffusion.

Formulation Note: This is an exceptionally potent, highly concentrated pure essential oil rich in active terpene compounds (notably terpinen-4-ol). While Tea Tree is widely recognized as one of the gentler essential oils, for topical cosmetic applications, we strictly recommend a standard dilution of 1–2% in a suitable carrier oil (such as Certified Organic Jojoba Oil GoldenAlmond Oil Sweet, or Grapeseed Oil) to prevent localized dermal sensitization.

Storage: Tea tree oil is highly susceptible to oxidation when exposed to light and air, which can increase the risk of skin sensitization. To preserve its crisp aromatic profile and active botanical compounds, ensure the bottle is kept tightly closed. Store in a cool, dark environment away from direct UV exposure and extreme heat.

Safety: For external cosmetic and atmospheric use only. Do not ingest. Do not apply undiluted to the skin, especially on highly sensitive or broken skin.
- Sensitization Note: Oxidized Tea Tree oil is a known skin sensitizer; discard old or improperly stored oil.
- Always perform a patch test on a small area of skin when trying a new diluted botanical product. If you are pregnant or under the care of a healthcare professional, consult them before use.

Zurma Essential Oils - Highest Quality Pure and Natural

At Zurma we go to great lengths to ensure that we only sell the highest quality pure and natural essential oils. We have searched the world for the best essential oils. Our in-house quality control system ensures that this high standard is maintained for all our essential oils. Every essential oil comes with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer (GCMS) test to confirm that they are genuine and authentic essential oils containing their correct active constituents.

The only exception to this is with the New Zealand small scale essential oil producers we buy direct from e.g., Lavender, Mānuka, Kānuka, Tea Tree etc. This is because we know and trust these growers who distil their own essential oils.

Finally, all essential oils have to undergo our own in-house smell, appearance and feel test and if they are not up to our high standards, we simply send the product back to the supplier. Based on this quality control process we believe that the 100% Pure and Natural essential oils that Zurma supplies to our customers are of the highest quality and are excellent for use in aromatherapy.
