This Moroccan Rose absolute is a highly concentrated form of rose oil that is extracted from the petals of the rosa damascena flower grown in Morocco. It is known for its lighter, fresher and a bit greener floral aroma. It is a great go too for purfumery and skincare alike.

The main difference between Rose Bulgarian and Rose Moroccan is the scent. Bulgarian rose absolute is rich, velvety and deeply floral with honeyed, jammy warmth and a touch of soft spice. Moroccan rose absolute is lighter, fresher and a bit greener, with brighter citrus-berry top notes and less of that sweet, heavy depth. Both are beautiful, but Bulgarian feels classic and full, while Moroccan comes across more modern and light.

Rose absolute is commonly used in aromatherapy for its therapeutic benefits. Some of the potential benefits of rose absolute include:

  • Mood-boosting: The sweet, floral aroma of rose absolute can help to uplift the mood and promote feelings of relaxation and well-being.

  • Anti-inflammatory: Rose absolute has anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to reduce redness and swelling in the skin.

  • Antioxidant: Rose absolute is rich in antioxidants, which can help to protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.

  • Skin-soothing: The anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of rose absolute can help to soothe irritated or inflamed skin, making it a popular ingredient in natural skincare products.

  • Stress-reducing: The calming scent of rose absolute can help to reduce stress and promote feelings of calmness and relaxation. It is often used in aromatherapy for this purpose.
