Peru Balsam Essential Oil
Peru Balsam has a sweet scent of vanilla, cinnamon and a hint of clove. It is a pourable resin dark yellow in colour. Helps with respiratory disorders and lessens mucus. Stimulates the heart, increasing blood pressure. Wonderful for skin; sores and wounds, including bed sores and scabies. A warming opening essential oil that soothes both the mind and nervous system.

Like maple syrup, it's tapped from the tree's trunk after it has reached maturity (about 20 years of age), and was traditionally used as an anointing oil and religious blessings.
