It is commonly used to help with arthritis, constipation, fatigue, muscle aches, nausea, neuralgia, poor circulation, rheumatism and slow digestion. It also has the ability to treat stress, pain, menstrual cramps, heart disorders, indigestion, blood pressure, coughing, congestion, colds and bad breath. Helps stimulate the cardiovascular system and works as a tonic for digestive and kidneys. Best used in very low doses.

Special use: Tonic for digestive and kidneys.

Blends Well With: Other carminative oils- Cardamom, Caraway, Coriander, Dill, Fennel. Also Clary Sage, Orange, Rosemary, Lime, Geranium.

Safety Data: Non-toxic, Non-irritating, Non-sensitizing. Tisserand and Young warn that Nutmeg Essential Oil can be psychotropic in high doses. They recommend a dermal maximum of 0.8% for East Indian and 5% for West Indian Nutmeg Oils.
