The Bio Whenua Oil Cleanser - Make-Up Melt is a gentle, plant-based cleansing oil made to effortlessly dissolve makeup, daily sunscreen, and grime without stripping or drying out your skin. At the heart of this soothing blend is Calendula flower extract infused in Sweet Almond Oil, paired with Fractionated Coconut Oil, Castor Seed Oil, and natural Vitamin E. Lightly scented with pure Frankincense, Geranium, and Roman Chamomile essential oils, this silky oil cleanser leaves your face feeling clean, soft, and comfortable.

Unlike foaming washes that use harsh soaps to strip away oil, this water-free cleanser works on a simple natural rule: oil dissolves oil. When you massage it onto dry skin, the lightweight Sweet Almond and Fractionated Coconut oils gently loosen stubborn makeup, sunscreen, and excess sebum (your skin's natural oil) trapped inside your pores. Castor Seed Oil helps draw out daily dirt and impurities, while Calendula flower extract and natural Vitamin E provide daily antioxidant support (helping to calm and protect skin cells while you wash). When wiped away with a warm, damp cloth, it lifts away daily buildup while leaving your skin's natural moisture barrier soft and intact.

Application: Made for daily facial cleansing and makeup removal. Pump a small amount into clean, dry hands and massage gently over your dry face and neck in circular motions, paying extra attention to areas with makeup or sunscreen. Wet a soft face cloth with warm water, hold it against your face for a few seconds to soften the oil, and gently wipe clean. Can be used on its own or followed with your favourite Bio Whenua foaming wash, floral water spray (toner), serum, and moisturiser.

Dermal Limits & Clinical Safety: Made without synthetic soaps, detergents, water, or artificial scents, making it a gentle choice for dry, sensitive, and mature skin. Because this oil cleanser contains zero water, bacteria and mould cannot grow in it, so it stays naturally fresh without needing any added preservatives.

Storage & Degradation: Because natural plant oils and essential oils can break down if they get too hot or are left in bright light, always keep the pump bottle closed tightly after each use. Store in a cool cupboard away from direct sunlight and heaters.

Critical Warnings: For use on the outside of the skin only. While gentle enough to remove makeup around the eye area, keep the oil out of your actual eyes. Avoid using if you have a known tree nut allergy (contains Sweet Almond Oil). We always recommend testing a small drop of oil on the inside of your arm for 24 hours before using it on your face for the first time. If your skin gets red or itchy, stop using it and wash the area with warm water.
