Distilled from the delicate, daisy-like blossoms of the Anthemis nobilis plant, this premium Roman Chamomile Essential Oil is one of the most profoundly soothing and universally cherished botanicals in holistic care. Characterised by an exceptionally sweet, crisp, and herbaceous aromatic profile with distinct, fruity apple-like nuances, this gentle essential oil is renowned for its capacity to promote a deeply comforting and tranquil atmosphere.

In premium cosmetic formulation, Roman Chamomile is highly prized for its remarkably calming and skin-comforting properties. It serves as an unparalleled botanical active in delicate facial serums, rich evening moisturisers, and targeted body oils specifically designed to comfort sensitive, dry, or stressed skin profiles. By gently supporting the skin's natural moisture barrier, it helps to promote a beautifully soft, calm, and healthy-looking complexion. In natural perfumery and diffusion, its sweet, relaxing heart notes effortlessly ease the feeling of daily tension, making it an essential component for any deeply restorative evening blend.

Skincare Ritual & Well-being Applications: Within a holistic self-care routine, Roman Chamomile Essential Oil is universally revered as the ultimate botanical tool for cultivating peace and unwinding a busy mind. Diffusing 2–4 drops of this sweet, apple-scented oil in the evening naturally prepares the space for rest, transforming your bedroom into a tranquil, deeply comforting sanctuary. When properly diluted into a luxurious nighttime facial oil or a warm bath blend, taking the time to slowly breathe in these profoundly relaxing notes turns a functional skincare step into a deliberate, sacred daily ritual that actively honours both your skin's natural softness and your emotional well-being.

Formulation & Safety Guidelines:
Application: Designed for luxury cosmetic formulation, sensitive skincare blends, comforting massage oils, natural perfumery, and ambient atmospheric scenting.

Formulation Note: This is a highly concentrated pure essential oil with a powerful, lingering aroma—a single drop goes a very long way. For topical cosmetic applications, we strictly recommend a low dilution rate of 0.5% to 1% in a highly soothing carrier oil (such as Jojoba, Sweet Almond, or Calendula-infused oil) to prevent localised sensitisation and ensure the scent remains delicate rather than overpowering.

Storage: To preserve its precious botanical compounds and beautifully crisp aroma, ensure the bottle is kept tightly closed. Store in a cool, dark environment away from direct UV exposure and extreme heat.

Safety: For external cosmetic and atmospheric use only. Do not apply undiluted to the skin and never apply to broken or highly irritated skin.
- Allergen Note: Individuals with a known allergy to plants in the Asteraceae/Compositae family (such as ragweed, marigolds, or daisies) should exercise caution and strictly perform a patch test before incorporating chamomile into their routine.
- If you are pregnant, nursing, or under the care of a healthcare professional, please consult them before using highly concentrated essential oils.

Zurma Essential Oils - Highest Quality Pure and Natural

At Zurma we go to great lengths to ensure that we only sell the highest quality pure and natural essential oils. We have searched the world for the best essential oils. Our in-house quality control system ensures that this high standard is maintained for all our essential oils. Every essential oil comes with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer (GCMS) test to confirm that they are genuine and authentic essential oils containing their correct active constituents.

The only exception to this is with the New Zealand small scale essential oil producers we buy direct from e.g., Lavender, Mānuka, Kānuka, Tea Tree etc. This is because we know and trust these growers who distil their own essential oils.

Finally, all essential oils have to undergo our own in-house smell, appearance and feel test and if they are not up to our high standards, we simply send the product back to the supplier. Based on this quality control process we believe that the 100% Pure and Natural essential oils that Zurma supplies to our customers are of the highest quality and are excellent for use in aromatherapy.

General Essential Oil Safety Recommendations
