Candelila Wax

Candelilla wax is made from the leaves of the Euphorbia cerifera and Euphorbia antisyphilitica shrubs, which are native to northern Mexico and the southwestern United States and belong to the Euphorbiaceae family. It's yellowish-brown in colour, stiff and brittle in texture, aromatic, and opaque to translucent in appearance. Its name translates to "little candle," a tribute to its original use as candle wax.
