Oil Based Perfume Recipes

When making oil based perfume we recommend Fractionated Coconut Oil (FC) as the carrier oil as it's light and gentle on skin.

Recipe 1

Ingredients:

4 drops Neroli 5% in Jojoba

4 drops Geranium Rose

3 drops Orris Root 5% in FC

2 drops Lavender

10ml Carrier Oil (FC or Jojoba)

Directions:

Combine all of the essential oils in a small glass bottle.

Add the carrier oil to the bottle and shake well to mix.

Let the mixture sit for a few hours to allow the scents to blend.

Apply a small amount of the perfume oil to your wrists, neck, or other pulse points as desired.

Recipe 2

Ingredients:

8 drops Orange Sweet

6 drops Ylang Ylang

4 drops Bergamot (Bergapten Free)

3 drops Orris Root 5% in FC

10ml Carrier Oil (FC or Jojoba)

Directions:

Combine all of the essential oils in a small glass bottle.

Add the carrier oil to the bottle and shake well to mix.

Let the mixture sit for a few hours to allow the scents to blend.

Apply a small amount of the perfume oil to your wrists, neck, or other pulse points as desired.

Recipe 3

Ingredients:

4 drops Grapefruit White

4 drops Ylang-Ylang

4 drops Jasmine 5% in Jojoba

2 drops Bergamot (Bergapten Free)

10ml Carrier Oil (FC or Jojoba)

Combine all of the essential oils in a small glass bottle.

Add the carrier oil to the bottle and shake well to mix.

Let the mixture sit for a few hours to allow the scents to blend.

Recipe 4

 Spicy and Woody Perfume Oil

Ingredients:

5 drops of Sandalwood

5 drops of Cedarwood

5 drops of Cinnamon Leaf

5 drops of Patchouli

10ml Carrier Oil (FC or Jojoba)

Directions:

Combine all of the essential oils in a small glass bottle.

Add the carrier oil to the bottle and shake well to mix.

Let the mixture sit for a few hours to allow the scents to blend.

Apply a small amount of the perfume oil to your wrists, neck, or other pulse points as desired.

Recipe 5

Ingredients:

10 drops of Lemon Destilled

10 drops of Lavender

5 drops of Bergamot (Bergapten Free)

5 drops of Ylang-Ylang

5 drops of sandalwood essential oil

10ml Carrier Oil (FC or Jojoba)

Directions:

Combine all of the essential oils in a small glass bottle.

Add the carrier oil to the bottle and shake well to mix.

Recipe 6

Ingredients:

4 drops of Amyris Essential Oil

4 drops of Ylang-Ylang grade 3 Essential Oil

2 drops of Frangipani 5% in FC

2 drops of Palmarosa Essential Oil

1 drops of Petitgrain Orange Essential Oil

10ml Carrier Oil (FC or Jojoba)

Directions:

Combine all of the essential oils in a small glass bottle.

Add the carrier oil to the bottle and shake well to mix.

Let the mixture sit for a few hours to allow the scents to blend.

Apply a small amount of the perfume oil to your wrists, neck, or other pulse points as desired.

 

Ethanol (perfumers alcohol) Based Perfume Recipes

Recipe 1

This sweet floral perfume will leave you feeling refreshed. Created with a unique aroma of Frangipani and Jasmine with a hint of Grapefruit White and Petitgrain Orange, followed with a warm woody base note of Amyris.

Ingredients:

3ml Frangipani 5% in Ethanol

6ml Jasmine Grandiflorum 5% in Ethanol

2 drops Grapefruit White

2 drops Petitgrain Orange

10 drops Amyris

Directions:

Measure out the frangipani and jasmine in a measuring cylinder. then pour into the perfume bottle

Add the essential oils into the perfume bottle and shake gently to mix.

Let the mixture sit for a few hours to allow the scents to blend.

Apply a small amount of the perfume to your wrists, neck, or other pulse points as desired.

This perfume will only get better with age

Recipe 2

This beautiful floral perfume will leave you feeling positively uplifted and invigorated. Blended with fresh citrus notes of Grapefruit Whtie and Orange Sweet along with the delicate scent of Jasmine, Amyris and Orris Butter. Finished with Tonka Bean Sweet creating a warm and comforting base note.

Ingredients:

6ml Jasmine Grandiflorum 5% in Ethanol

2ml Orris Butter 5% in Ethanol

1ml Tonka Bean Sweet 25% in Ethanol

2 drops Grapefruit White

8 drops Orange Sweet

8 drops Amyris

Directions:

Measure out the jasmine, orris butter and tonka bean in a measuring cylinder. then pour into the perfume bottle

Add the essential oils into the perfume bottle and shake gently to mix.

Let the mixture sit for a few hours to allow the scents to blend.

Apply a small amount of the perfume to your wrists, neck, or other pulse points as desired.

This perfume will only get better with age
