Patchouli essential oil has as a distinctive, sweet-rich, earthy, penetrating and exotic aroma.
Patchouli is an amazing oil for the skin and nervous system. It is helpful for most skin types ranging from dry, cracked skin all the way to oily skin. It also has a good reputation for being helpful with acne, eczema and psoriasis. It is an excellent anti-depressant.
Its musky sweet penetrating scent is exotic, calming and grounding. Popular in the 60's/70's during the flower power movement as Patchouli invokes feelings of peace and love.

A few years back I read about Patchouli Dark, and I was rapt to find it available in NZ.
