Orange Blossom Hydrosol

$21.52

A lovely sweet smelling Hydrosol, refreshing and bright. Makes a wonderful facial spray, especially when you need a quick pick me up during the day. Steam Distilled Orange Petals produce very little Essential Oil but generous amounts of this amazing natural hydrosol.

Botanical Name: Citrus aurantium ssp amara

Part Typically Used: Flower

Method of Extraction: Steam Distilled

Class: Water

Country of Origin: Egypt

Preservative: Sodium Benzoate & Glucono-Delta-Lactone.

Orange blossom water is a by-product of the process of distillation that is used to obtain the essential oil from the seeds, peel, leaves, bark, and pulp.

Dry skin conditions can be revived and moisturized with a  regular light application of this pure cleansing and balancing water throughout the day.

As a skin toner this pure, alcohol-free distillate, derived from water-soluble plant components is a gentle, cleansing skin toner that is particularly suitable for younger or oily skin.

Maybe used as a cleanser/make-up remover that is especially suited to younger skin? With its gentle astringent and conditioning qualities, Orange Blossom / Neroli Hydrosol is perfect for this application.

Hydrosol is term used to refer to the by-product derived from the distillation process when producing essential oils and is sometimes referred to as floral waters. Hydrosols contain the colloidal suspensions of the essential oil as well as water-soluble components but in a milder form (0.02%) which makes them suitable for all manner of applications where essential oil would be too strong.
