Bio Whenua hand crème contains the deeply hydrating and nourishing ingredients of Aloe Vera and Kawakawa. As well as being enriched with Shea Butter, Hemp, Calendula and Jojoba oils to help moisturise and protect the skin. This hand crème provides concentrated nourishment for dehydrated and sun damaged skin and cuticles. It has a lovely scent with Frankincense, Mandarin and Cardamon essential oils.
Daily Ritual: Apply a small amount of crème to hydrate and nourish your hands as often as needed.

The native Kawakawa plant has been used by Maori for many different cultural and therapeutic uses. Kawakawa extract has been included as it has an anti-inflammatory effects that helps cleanse and soothe the skin.

Our brand name Bio Whenua can be translated as Bio = Life and Whenua = Land. Combined together they encompass the MÄori principles of Kaitiakitanga (Sustainability) and Mauri Ora (Good Health) which speak of life and us as the living protectors that nurture the land and the biodiversity it sustains. Visually the top of our logo design represents the Kaitiaki (protector), instilling life into the Whenua (land) which is the bottom area.

This is the best handcream I've ever tried! (And I've tried a lot!!) Long lasting and not greasy. The neutral scent is noninvasive and you can add your own oils to suit! Love it!
Highly recomend this handcream..I have always suffered with dry, damaged skin, made worse having chemotherapy..this thick, absorbent, lightly scented handcream has been an awesum find. I've even used it on my arms to alleviate the itch of dry skin. Great to apply to hands before gloves to do gardening.
A lovely, thick nourishing cream full of goodies that immediately take 10 years off my hands. It has a wholesome, subtle fragrance that you can augment by mixing a few drops of essential oil – in my case, Zurma's lavender oil, which in itself is beneficial. Feels so good.
