Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe vera is a wonder plant that has been used for centuries for its many health and beauty benefits. When it comes to skincare, aloe vera is a game-changer. Its natural gel-like substance is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that can nourish, hydrate, and soothe the skin. This product also includes organic Lavender hydrosol which helps soothe and heal the skin.
One of the most remarkable properties of aloe vera is its ability to moisturize the skin without leaving a greasy residue. It can penetrate deep into the skin to provide long-lasting hydration, making it an excellent choice for those with dry, dehydrated skin.
Aloe vera also has anti-inflammatory properties, making it ideal for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin. It can calm redness, reduce inflammation, and prevent breakouts.
In addition to its hydrating and anti-inflammatory properties, aloe vera can also help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Its high concentration of antioxidants can help to protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals and promote the production of collagen, which can improve skin elasticity and firmness.
Overall, aloe vera is a powerful ingredient that can do wonders for your skin. Incorporating it into your skincare routine can help to improve the overall health and appearance of your skin, leaving it looking and feeling radiant and rejuvenated.

The Aloe vera plant is about one or two feet tall with prickly and bitter leaves, which act as a defence to keep animals and insects from feeding on the plant. The leaves hold a gooey translucent gel, also extremely bitter, and known all over the world for it's unbelievable healing properties. This translucent gel is made up of around 96% water, some organic and inorganic compounds, a type of protein which contains 18 of the 20 amino acids found in the body and many vitamins including A, C, E, folic acid, choline, B1, B2, B3 (niacin), B6. Aloe Vera is also one of the few plants that contains vitamin B12. Some of the 20 minerals found in Aloe vera include: calcium, magnesium, zinc, chromium, selenium, sodium, iron, potassium, copper, manganese.
Another part of the Aloe vera plant which is used is the 'sap', a yellow-coloured liquid stuck to the skin of the plant from the inside.
A 2014 study published online by the Cambridge University Press looked at tomato plants coated with aloe gel. The report showed evidence that the coating successfully blocked the growth of many types of harmful bacteria on the vegetables. Similar results were found in a different study with apples. This means that Aloe gel could help fruits and vegetables stay fresh, and eliminate the need for dangerous chemicals that extend the shelf life of produce.

After being apprehensive about using this I'm glad I did! Hands down better than any product I've used on my body for eczema
Love this gel, very nourishing for dry skin, use it every day
This is a lovely gel and easily pourable. It can be mixed in with other creams or used as is. It is not at all sticky. I am hooked.
