Our brand name Bio Whenua can be translated as Bio = Life and Whenua = Land. Combined together they encompass the Māori principles of Kaitiakitanga (Sustainability) and Mauri Ora (Good Health) which speak of life and us as the living protectors that nurture the land and the biodiversity it sustains. Visually the top of our logo design represents the Kaitiaki (protector), instilling life into the Whenua (land) which is the bottom area.
