Valerian Root essential oil has a warm-woody, balsamic and musky aroma. This is a calming essential oil with a strong aroma that is considered an acquired scent by some. It is pungent and musky and will stand out in a blend. Similar to catnip, valerian is grounding for humans and exciting for our feline friends.
