Sweet Birch oil has a sweet, spicy, minty, wintergreen-chewing gum aroma. The quality of this oil is quite amazing and is a bit more complex than the typical birch oil. It has an invigorating, even rousing effect on the spirits. *Should only be used by experienced and trained professionals.

Description: It has a sweet, spicy and minty, wintergreen chewing gum aroma. This true birch oil is expensive because the bark has to be macerated and soaked in warm water for 10-12 hours minimum before it can be distilled. The yield is very low and the oil is more difficult technically to collect from the distillation because its more dense than water and so the oil layer sinks to the bottom of the collection apparatus instead of floating on top like most essential oils.  Our supplier believes that this is the only authentic birch oil produced on the market today.  Only to be used by experianced professiolal:Can be useful as an anti-depressant/ stimulant. Has analgesic and anti-spasmodic; anti-septic and disinfectant properties along with anti-rheumatic and anti-arthritic; and as a detoxifier and depurative.

Aromatherapy/Home Use: None really as this is a very strong oil, that is toxic when levels build up in the body.
