We love this excellent Facewash cleanser as it's great for removing makeup, dirt, and environmental pollutants from the skin. It contains the natural healing powers of Manuka and Tea Tree Hydrosols which make this Facewash effective for healing acne prone skin, helping to soothe blemishes and control breakouts. Rich in nourishing herbal extracts and freshly scented with 100% pure essential oils it creates a clean, refreshing, and healing experience. Use both morning and night.

This Refreshing Facewash cleanser is bestowed with many powerful natural and organic healing botanics that promote calm and healthy skin. The nourishing herbal extracts of Willowbark, Witch Hazel, Sage and Strawberry leave the skin feeling refreshed, calm and glowing. The NZ grown Manuka and Tea Tree hydrosols help purify the skin and eliminate acne causing bacteria. They also have a very mild astringent effect on the skin that helps to reduce pore size while balancing the skins oil production. This is a very effective face wash for break-out prone skin and for relief of acne.

Our Facewash has a beautiful uplifting aroma that comes from organic Ylang Ylang and Lemongrass essential oils.

Daily Ritual: Lightly massage the Facewash onto dampened skin for 20 seconds, then rinse with warm water allowing the refreshing sensation to unfold.

Manuka Hydrosol forms the base for this Moisturising day creme which comes from the steam distillation of Manuka plant material used to make Manuka essential oil. The Manuka hydrosol is the water left behind from the distillation process which now contains a myriad of beneficial natural organic compounds. The Manuka hydrosol also helps give our Facewash it's light Manuka herbaceous aromatic undertones. The native Kawakawa plant has been used by Maori for many different cultural and therapeutic uses. This Kawakawa extract has been included as it has an anti-inflammatory effects that helps cleanse and soothe the skin.

Our brand name Bio Whenua can be translated as Bio = Life and Whenua = Land. Combined together they encompass the Maori principles of Kaitiakitanga (Sustainability) and Mauri Ora (Good Health) which speak of Life and us as the living protectors that nurture the land and with it ourselves. Visually the top of our logo design represents the Kaitiaki (protector), instilling life into the Whenua (land) which is the bottom area.
