Shea butter is an off-white or ivory-colored fat extracted from the nut of the African shea tree (Butyrospermum parkii). This Shea butter is in its natural state as it has not been refined. Because of this, our unrefined shea butter has a strong earthy, buttery aroma which varies batch to batch.
Use: A beneficial treatment for wrinkles and signs of aging, stretch marks, skin rashes, insect bites and chapped skin. Shea Butter reduces the effects of UV damage on the skin and has an anti-inflammatory action.
Use 5% to 10% Dilution in other base oils or waxes.
