This type of Basil Sweet oil has an excellent reputation, indeed perhaps the best, for being an aromatic nerve tonic. It clears the head, relieves intellectual fatigue, and gives the mind strength and clarity.
Can also be helpful in providing relief from colds, flu and fever and menstrual and abdominal pain when massaged into the lower back, abdomen and hips. A strong essential oil that needs to be used in low doses.

Safety Data: Can be irritating to sensitive skin, Avoid in pregnancy. Do not use in high doses with children and the very sick. Used in low doses it is a tonic with a stimulating effect – however when used in excess it has the opposite effect. Not to be used in high doses.
