This Ylang Ylang Extra oil from Indonesia has a powerfully floral, extremely sweet, with floral-woody undertones aroma. This Ylang Ylang is obtained by continuous collection of steam distillation of the fresh flowers which are known as the “Flower of Flowers" (which in Malay is called Ylang ylang). This is a sensual and exotic essential oil that has an aphrodisiacal quality (in low dose) as well as having a very calming and sedative effect on the nervous system.

The first 40% of essential oil distilled is called Ylang ylang Extra, which is the finest-top grade. The 3 further distillates collected are known as Ylang ylang Grade 1. Grade 2. Or Grade 3. Each grade having a slightly different scent, as they go down.

A ylang ylang absolute & concrete are also produced using solvent extraction creating a very long-lasting floral and balsamic scented product.

Blends Well With: Rosemary, Lavender, Geranium, Bitter Orange, Neroli, Jasmine, Palmarosa, Benzoin, Clary sage, Clove

Safety Data: Non-toxic, Non-irritant. May be sensitizing in high dose - Due to its heady scent it can cause Headaches or Nausea in some people.
