Giant Arborvitae / Western Red Cedar essential oil is colourless to Pale Yellow. Strong sharp complex top notes with a clean, camphor-like, fresh aroma.

Arborvitae, (also known as Western Red Cedar) and its essential oils have been traditionally used as a natural insect repellent and wood preservative, primarily because of its insecticidal and antimicrobial property. Recently, the topical use of Arborvitae essential oil for skincare has gained popularity. Western Red Cedar Wood is sometimes used in meditation, helping regulate the rhythm of the energetic body. It is said to help shift stagnant "heart" energy, encouraging fresh energy movement, that is grounded and spiritually conscious.

Special Use: High in Methyl thujate, which makes this essential oil useful as a strong anti inflammatory.
