Agarofurans are confirmed at nearly two percent as well as eudesmols valerianol, eromol, hinesol, oxoagarospirol, and 9, 11 -eremophiladien-8-one. These constituents are all indicative of a good agarwood fingerprint.

Description: Attar of Oud (Agarwood) Essential Oil is a fragrant dark resinous oil used in incense and perfume. It is formed in the heartwood of aquilaria trees when they become infected with a type of mold (Phialophora parasitica). Prior to infection, the heartwood is odourless, relatively light and pale coloured; however, as the infection progresses, the tree produces a dark aromatic resin, called agar. Agarwood (Aquilaria) tree is one of the most expensive raw perfume ingredients in the world. This Oud has been distilled in sandalwood to enhance the woodiness of the aroma.
