Marjoram Wild/Spanish Essential Oil has a rich herbaceous warm aroma. This plant grows wild in Spain or Portugal and despite its name is actually a member of the Thyme family, so should not be confused with Marjoram Sweet & Origanum marjorana. It can be used as a decongestant, antiseptic, antispasmodic and for its antibacterial properties. Useful in nut/seed oil blends for sore, tired and achy muscles and to relieve chesty coughs and a blocked nose.

Botanical Name: Thymus mastichina

Method of Extraction: Steam Distillation.

Part typically used : Leaves & Flowering Tops.

Description:  Pale yellow oil - Amber with a rich herby warm aroma.
