Our Bio Whenua Moisturiser has been created with Lingonberry stem cells to provide long-lasting skin hydration that prevents and reverses photoaging. The Lingonberry stem cells provide a powerful defence against Ultra-Violet, Infra-Red and Blue Light. This Moisturiser is unisex and can be used by all skin types. It is a rich, yet light day Creme that is abundant in the organic oils of Hemp, Borage and Jojoba.

Bio Whenua's Moisturiser - Anti-Aging Booster day créme has been created with Lingonberry stem cell extract technology. Our Moisturiser is a rich yet light day créme, it has a herbaceous citrus aroma that can be used daily. It is unisex and suitable for all skin types.

Lingonberry protects and reverses the effects of photoaging as well as providing long lasting skin hydration. Our Moisturiser also contains organic oils of Hemp Seed, Borage Seed and Jojoba which are rich in nutrients and vitamins helping to nourish your skin. These ingredients combined with the Lingonberry extract helps prevent the signs of aging by plumping up the skin to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

The Science: Lingonberry stem cell extract has scientifically been proven to protect the skin from the suns ultra-violet and infra-red radiation as well as blue light from our modern screen technology. In addition, we have carefully included the organic oils of Hemp Seed, Calendula, Evening Primrose, and Pomegranate Seed oil to make this a rich and nourishing creme which will help restore the skins balance and promote natural regeneration and healing of the skin while you sleep.

Te Rongoā Māori: At Bio Whenua we love to incorporate the use of Aotearoa (New Zealand) native plant materials and extracts into our products. Organic Mānuka Hydrosol forms the base for this Moisturising day creme which comes from the steam distillation of Mānuka plant material used to make Manuka essential oil. The Mānuka hydrosol is the water left behind from the distillation process which now contains a myriad of beneficial natural organic compounds. The Manuka hydrosol also helps give our Facewash it's light Mānuka herbaceous aromatic undertones.

We continue to look for new ways to promote sustainability through our business which is why we're so excited about our partnership with The Abel Tasman Birdsong Trust! Their aim is to protect and enhance the biodiversity in the Abel Tasman National Park so that it can once again be filled with the wonderful sound of native birdsong.
From here on out, for every Bio Whenua product we sell we will make a donation towards their organization. So far they have administered over $1 million towards the national park in projects that include predator control, biodiversity restoration and the reintroduction of native birds. The Meaning of Bio Whenua
Our brand name Bio Whenua can be translated as Bio = Life and Whenua = Land. Combined together they encompass the Māori principles of Kaitiakitanga (Sustainability) and Mauri Ora (Good Health) which speak of life and us as the living protectors that nurture the land and the biodiversity it sustains. Visually the top of our logo design represents the Kaitiaki (protector), instilling life into the Whenua (land) which is the bottom area.
