These scent strips can be used to test raw materials or finished perfumes, as well as during the perfume-making process.
If you are making a perfume, put 1 drop of the ingredient on the narrow end and write the name of the ingredient or accord on the wider side. You can then leave them for a day or two to test the fixability of any given ingredient. If you have several different strips, you can hold them in a little fan in front of your nose to examine how they smell when combined.
