Tea Tree NZ Hydrosol - Certified Organic

$24.15

Tea tree hydrosol is the byproduct of the distillation of tea tree essential oil. Use this to create cosmetics such as face masks, creams, lotions, and more.

Acne prevention and therapy are made possible by the powerful disinfecting, antibacterial, antifungal, astringent, and anti-inflammatory characteristics of tea tree hydrosol. In addition to reducing large pores and minimizing excess oil, the astringent component helps tighten, tone, and firm skin. Its anti-inflammatory properties can also be soothing for sensitive skin. As a gentle disinfectant, teatree hydrosol can also be sprayed on makeup and hairbrushes.

The 100ml bottle comes in a beautiful frosted bottle with a gold spray top. The other sized bottles just have an ordinary black screw top lid suitable for refilling.

Botanical Name: Melaleuca alternifolia

Method of Extraction: Steam Distilled

Part Typically Used: Leaves

Country of Origin: New Zealand

Organic Certifier: Bio-Gro

Hydrosol is term used to refer to the by-product derived from the distillation process when producing essential oils and is sometimes referred to as floral waters. Hydrosols contain the colloidal suspensions of the essential oil as well as water-soluble components but in a milder form (0.02%) which makes them suitable for all manner of applications where essential oils would be too strong.
